¡¡¡¡Roku¡¯s taking more steps to highlight its stature as a content provider. This week, the company debuted a new show, ¡°Roku Recommends,¡± which highlights content users can stream on the company¡¯s platform. The show kicked off on Thursday and you can expect weekly episodes moving forward on The Roku Channel.

¡¡¡¡Accessing HBO Max just got a little cheaper ¡ª if you¡¯re fine with a few ads here and there, of course. The ad-supported tier of HBO Max launched this week at a more affordable price of $9.99 per month. Meanwhile, HBO Max is offering a solid deal if you¡¯re up for prepaying for a full year.

¡¡¡¡This week, the Apple TV app started popping up on more devices. First, it showed up on Nvidia¡¯s Shield TV line. And then later in the week, the app was made available on more Android TV devices.
