Back in December of last year, it was announced that Sega was planning to bring a bulk of the beloved Yakuza series not just to PC, but onto Xbox Game Pass alongside. And following the arrival of staple series-protagonist Kazuma Kiryu’s adventures onto Microsoft’s subscription service — capping off with Yakuza 6: The Song of Life last March — the series’ debut into turn-based combat, a la Like a Dragon, is following suit.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon, which introduces new protagonist Kasuga Ichiban into the mix — and in series fashion, turned out to be an unsurprisingly brilliant and comical entry, complete with an enjoyable reinvention of Ryu Ga Gotoku’s long-running series — will be available on Xbox Game Pass starting from today.
